Re: Have: flower seeds only

Lol, we do have the same taste in flowers. Since you just found three of mine I'll whittle my list down to
blanket flower, dahlia mignon mix, and calico aster.

Please send me your address and I'll get your flowers out.

Try using new paper pots so you can just plant without disturbing the roots. Also if they start outgrowing the pot you could put them in a bigger pot.

Re: HAVE: Horseradish Plant Root

Sounds good, I'll try growing my own horseradish, why not.

I have to plant watermelon and okra in the winter to have at a harvest so I thought peanuts might need the same treatment.

I'm happy to take a few more peanuts off your hands to use as back ups in case I make a rookie mistake. You can leave them in the shells to store.

The home grown citrus here is amazing. I get crates from my neighbors. I'm finishing some grapefruit, bitter orange and sweet lemons I got from my neighbors, they're so juicy and keep pretty well. We grow great beans and salad, tropical fruits like papaya.

Of course I am longing for southern watermelon, big tomatoes and okra; which like more heat and humidity than we get Dreaming of showing up to the garden potluck with home grown Beef steak tomato, boiled peanuts, fried okra and a twenty pound watermelon instead of bean salad.

Hi
I'd be interested in the dwarf Dahlis, blanket flower, gaillardia, hollyhock, and aster. What are you looking for?

How much would postage cost? I'm so excited my Virginia peanuts are growing. I got at least three plants growing in laundry baskets like you said.

Thanks, I'll start planting more flowers. I keep some grapes on my compost pile so that must be why I get a few butterflies every day
