from katjaqu on 04/24/2015 11:24 PMI just want to let you know that when I checked my P O Box last night there were two packages from you there. I don't know why the first package took so long to get here.
I will return the second package to you unopened.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Thanks

Re: HOMESTEADING: Printables for the homestead
from katjaqu on 04/23/2015 04:20 AMIf you've checked out the link and seen the recipe for Ginger Bug and wondered what it is, it's for making homemade soda like root beer and ginger ale.
Most people made the Ginger Bug starter and kept it in a mason jar on the counter next to the sourdough starter.
It's a nice recipe to print out and keep in your self sufficient recipe binder.
Re: HOMESTEADING: Printables for the homestead
from katjaqu on 04/23/2015 04:05 AMWe raised ducks and guinea fowl about twenty years ago.
One morning I went to feed them and found that the chicken wire fencing had been chewed through. Feathers were everywhere and all twenty ducks and fifteen guinea fowl were gone from the poultry yard.
Bits of reddish fur was all over the fence where it had been chewed open.
I thought at first it was raccoons because they had eaten our pet chicken but when we looked at the fur we figured they were foxes and not raccoons.
Re: Bluee19 Trade List 04/15/2015
from katjaqu on 04/23/2015 01:27 AMHi Nicole,
I received the seeds yesterday and I want you to know that I really appreciate you them!
I'm a real squash fan!!
Thank you so much!
I'm still looking for your sunflowers. I was out shopping yesterday and looked wherever I seen non gmo seeds for sale. There were lots of sunflower seeds but not the ones on your list.

from katjaqu on 04/20/2015 04:15 AMHi,
I was just wondering if you received the seeds I mailed out to you on April 8.
I haven't received anything from you yet so I wanted to check.
I have sent you personal messages with no response.
Please let me know when I should receive the seeds from your end.
Thanks
Have a great week.
