from ibartoo on 02/23/2015 03:34 PMI love to grow things from scraps too. I have a beautiful Kiwi vine and I have also grown starfruit, papayas, mangos and avocados all grown from scraps. I try regrowing the spring onions in water, but I never seem to pay enough attention to them.
Years ago, when DH worked around a country club, he would bring me lots of pineapple tops. I have very sandy soil so they grew beautifully. I once lined an entire flower bed with them. They make awesome plants.
I will have to try the herbs though. I had never thought of that.
