from Backwoodswife on 04/14/2015 11:44 PMThey are beautiful! Do you make fermented hot sauce? I made a ton of regular last year, but am going to try my hand at some fermented this year and some pepper jelly, I can't wait I am totally chili obsessed! What kinds of peppers are you growing this year?

from Pepper_Rancher on 04/15/2015 01:23 AMNo I havent tried the fermenting method, just the vinager method.

Actually Ive never grown bell peppers before... I wonder how many bell peppers will be on the plant??

from Backwoodswife on 04/15/2015 02:53 PMI haven't grown bell peppers for years, they never did that well for me, I would get like 6 on a plant, if you try with the self watering container I would be interested to see how it turned out, I bet you would get a bunch! If you want to try any other hots I have some leftover seeds, I planted something like 100 varieties this year hoping to make the ultimate hot sauce.Just let me know I'll tell you what I have :)

Your pepper plants will be loaded with peppers if you spray water with epsom salts on your plants.

from Pepper_Rancher on 04/17/2015 04:26 AMMagnesium sulfate is plentiful in the hydro solution I recommend, so supplemental foliar spray would not be necessary if you want to try this method.
